One of the renown Traditional Sundanese Communities that is still existing and developing in West Java is the so-called Kampung Naga, which is located approximately at equal distance between Garut and Tasikmalaya, two middle-sized but well-known towns in the region. Inevitably, the Kampung Naga traditional Sundanese community is becoming a well known tourist attraction by the local, national as well as international tourism activity. Environmental impacts of tourism on this well-known Sundanese traditional community is turning into more and more significant in the course of time and space. Therefore, an ecological, economic as well as socio-cultural monitoring system actually is really in need should "Kampung Naga" be maintained as the traditional Sundanese community that may still be flourished in space and time. In this presentation, the ecological interpretation of Kampung Naga' s Sundanese traditonal community is basically elaborated.
